Contribution Rules

  1. Contributors must be U.S. citizens or a lawfully admitted permanent residents (i.e., green card holder).

  2. Contributors must be at least eighteen years old.

  3. Contributions must be made from your own personal funds. It cannot be made by a corporation, limited liability company (LLC), or labor union. Funds cannot be provided from one person to another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution or reimbursed by another.

  4. Americans living abroad may only contribute while physically in the United States.

  5. Arizona law requires the committee to record and report the name, residential address, occupation, and employer of all contributors.

    • For in-state individuals, this is required if total contributions exceed $100 in an election cycle.

    • For out-of-state individuals, this information is required for contributions in any amount.

A Note on Fairness, Independence, and My Campaign Contribution Policy

How a candidate handles their campaign is a direct preview of how they will govern, and I believe you deserve total transparency.

My policy regarding campaign contributions is rooted in objective fairness:

  1. I do not actively solicit donations. The time, skills, services, and funds contributed to this campaign have all been offered voluntarily by supporters who choose to invest in our shared vision for the community.

  2. A donation is an endorsement of my vision, not a purchase of influence. Every legal contribution to this campaign is an investment in a transparent, accountable future for Bisbee. It never buys special access, and it will never compromise my impartiality.

  3. I will not engage in selective exclusion. If a leader starts picking and choosing whose unsolicited legal support is “acceptable," they are playing into the exclusionary dynamics of the past. Classifying anyone’s legal contribution as "less than" another based on political pressure doesn't demonstrate independence. It demonstrates a vulnerability to outside influence.

As a retired Certified Public Accountant, I look at campaign finance rules objectively, by the book, and without favoritism.

I am running to be the Mayor for all of Bisbee. To solve our very real challenges, I must be willing to listen to every perspective and treat every citizen with equal fairness.
